1. About us

This website is operated by Tidy Sheets ("we", "us", "our"). We sell downloadable spreadsheet templates. You can contact us at tidysheetsuk@gmail.com.

By using this website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Return and Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.

2. Our products

All Tidy Sheets products are digital downloads. No physical item will be sent to you.

Our templates are designed to work in Microsoft Excel and in Google Sheets. You are responsible for having a device and software that can open .xlsx files. Google Sheets is free to use.

We make every effort to describe our products accurately, including through images and descriptions. Product images are illustrations and may show example data. Small differences in appearance can occur between Excel, Google Sheets and other spreadsheet apps.

3. Ordering and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the product. Our contract with you is formed when your payment is accepted and your download is made available. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product was listed at an obviously incorrect price. If we cancel, we will refund you in full.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card details.

4. Delivery

Once your payment is confirmed, your download link is shown on the order confirmation page and emailed to the address you provide. Please make sure your email address is correct and check your junk or spam folder.

If you haven't received your download within 24 hours, contact us and we'll resend it.

5. Your right to cancel

By completing your purchase, you expressly agree that your download is made available immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the download link has been provided. This is in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

6. Refunds and returns

All sales are final once a file has been downloaded. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Please see our Return and Refund Policy for full details, including what to do if a file is faulty.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a file is faulty or not as described, we will repair or replace it, and if we can't, we will refund you.

7. Licence to use our templates

When you buy a template, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use it for your own personal, household or small-business planning.

You may:

  • use the template as many times as you like, for as long as you like
  • make copies for your own use and back-ups
  • edit and customise the template for your own use

You may not:

  • share, give away, sell, resell, sublicense or distribute the template, in original or edited form
  • upload the template to any website, marketplace, file-sharing service or shared drive where others can access it
  • claim the template or its design as your own work, or use it to create a competing product
  • remove any copyright notices or Tidy Sheets branding

All templates, designs, images, text and other content on this website remain the intellectual property of Tidy Sheets. Buying a template gives you a licence to use it. It does not transfer ownership.

If you break these licence terms, your licence ends immediately and we may take further action to protect our work.

8. Not financial advice

Our templates are planning and organising tools only. They are not financial, legal, tax or professional advice. Any calculations, such as budgets, debt payoff dates, savings targets or interest estimates, are estimates based on the information you enter and the assumptions stated in each template.

You are responsible for checking your figures and for any decisions you make. For advice about your personal circumstances, please speak to a qualified professional.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We are not liable for:

  • any financial decisions made using our templates
  • errors caused by data you enter, or by changes you make to a template's formulas or structure
  • differences in how third-party software (such as Excel or Google Sheets) displays or calculates a template
  • any loss of data, or damage to devices, caused by software or systems we don't control

Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

10. Using our website

You agree not to misuse this website. This includes attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing viruses, scraping content, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or remove products and content at any time.

11. Chargebacks

If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute for a file that has been downloaded, we will provide our order and download records to your bank or payment provider. Please contact us first. We're happy to help resolve any genuine problem.

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you place an order will apply to that order.

14. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
